TGL offers its customers an extensive range of generic clutch kits that can fit into your existing product range. Generic kits are made all over the world and offer a suitable substitute to for more expensive OE kits.

TGL prides itself on quality, therefore it is committed to rigorously checking the quality of the generic parts it offers its customers. To do this it employs ISO standards PSW (Part Submission Warrant) using the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), as used in the first tier automotive supply chain.

PSW is the section under which PPAP is found. When potential suppliers are found we follow a step by step process to ensure that the parts are of an acceptable quality. Samples of all parts are obtained along with a set of technical drawings, performance results and a summary of the materials used in the parts manufacture. Parts are then tested on our test rigs to ensure that supplied details are correct and that results perform to OE specification. Parts that meet OE specification are then passed and supplied. Only when parts have been signed off will TGL sell any generic part.

In the event that any amendments are to be made they are required to be signed off against the PPAP process before they can be implemented. Ongoing we test generic parts at random in compliance with ISO’s SPC (Statistical Process Control) testing method. This is a responsive testing process - typically 10% of each batch will be tested. In the event of failures to comply, testing/sampling will become more frequent.

This range offers customers high quality clutch kits at a more competitive price. The range is extensive covering European, Japanese and Korean applications.

Products are tested in-house with bespoke machinery for bearing load, pressure plate lift, bearing travel, clamp load and drive plate run-out.

The range is offered in either Rymec brand or in customers' specific branding. The brand offers customers a smart image and safe knowledge that the product is assured to high specifications.
